Short Stories

I’ve loved horror for as long as I can remember. One of my first memories is sneaking out of bed to curl up next to my dad on our old plaid couch, watching Jaws on HBO way past midnight. My mom yelled at him for letting me watch it, but I thought it was hilarious, and somewhere in that moment, something clicked. Horror was scary, sure, but it was also fun. My mom later shared her own favorites with me, from Hitchcock summers to the slashers and thrillers she grew up watching at the drive-in, and by then I was completely hooked. When I was twelve, I started writing my own little mysteries and scary stories, just for fun. I tried submitting to magazines in my twenties, failed miserably, and gave up for a while. The thing about horror is that it always comes back. So here I am again, sharing the stories that never really left me.
